SARO anti-wear solutions for high-energy impacts

SARCERGOM is the anti-wear system developed by SARO for the protection of structures and components subjected to strong impacts, abrasion, and high mechanical aggression in industrial processes dedicated to the handling of bulk and abrasive materials. SARCERGOM technology was born from the need to combine:

The system is created through the vulcanization of wear-resistant ceramic elements within an abrasion-resistant technical rubber matrix, resulting in a composite solution capable of operating effectively even in the most demanding applications. The presence of rubber allows for:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Surface Preparation

Surface preparation is important for the long-term performance of the product. The parameters can vary depending on the severity of the application, expected lifespan, and initial conditions of the substrates to be treated.

Remove dirt, oil, grease, etc. with a suitable cleaner.
Any irregularities, splashes, or weld marks, as well as any other surface roughness, must be smoothed and leveled; any indentations or porosity must be filled and leveled.
Sandblast the entire surface to be treated with an angular grit to achieve a roughness of 50-70 microns, and a blast cleaning degree close to white metal (SIS SA 2½ /SSPC-SP 10). For immersion applications, a white metal blast cleaning degree (SIS SA 3/SSPC-SP 5) is required.
After sandblasting, the metal surface must be cleaned with a residue-free cleaner or solvent to remove dust and contaminants. Dry and clean compressed air can also be used to eliminate dust and contaminants. The surface must be coated before new oxidation occurs.

Sarc-ergom

SARCERGOM is supplied in standard panels with dimensions of 340 x 340 mm and various thicknesses, selected according to operating conditions and the level of aggression of the treated material. The modularity of the system allows for:
